Fellowship Opportunities

For more information about these activities, please call the church office at 263-2696.  Please note that these times and dates are subject to change.  We have several new fun activities and/or educational opportunities such as Weekly Walking, Book Studies, etc.   Please call the church office to inquire.

• Worship each Sunday morning at 10:15am.  Visitors are expected!  Following worship service, those who have a few moments of time gather for a time of coffee and fellowship.

• Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:00am October through May.

  All-church Nights - Each Wednesday from October  through April members of all ages gather for supper at 5:30pm followed by activities and classes.  Everyone is welcome!  After the meal, children ages 3-4 gather in the nursery with their friends and K-5 learn about Bible stories through "Faith Weaver Friends."  Middle School and Senior High enjoy fellowship and sharing, discussions and study, field trips, and will focus on living in God's world today.  An adult class is also available.  Something for everyone!  The evening concludes at 7:30pm.

• Men's Breakfast meets the 1st Sunday morning of each month at 7:45am for a time of good food and fellowship. Men ages 14 and over are invited to attend.

• Men's Bible Study meets every Wednesday morning at 6:30am, at the church. They have a time of fellowship and encouragement.

• Encouragers is a young families group. This group currently meets the 2nd Friday evening of each month at 6:00pm at the church. We have a light meal together as families. Child care is provided after the meal. This is a time for young families to encourage each other on the journey of Christian parenting.

• There are two ladies Circles available. Lydia Circle usually meets  in homes on the first Thursday evening of the month, and Friendship Circle usually meets at the church on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  

• Come join us for coffee every Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00am.  This is a time for coffee and fellowship. 

• The adult choir needs you! Currently the adult choir is practicing on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. The children's choir meets during the Wednesday All-Church Night and sings occasionally at Sunday worship.

• Additional Adult Studies and Family activities are planned throughout the year.  Please check the calendar for these special events.

Service Opportunities: 

• Emmaus Cafe:  Our church serves a free noon meal each Sunday.  Volunteers are needed to prepare lunch, serve the meal, and clean up afterward.

•  Habitat for Humanity:  The churches of Muscatine work together to provide financial support and labor for homes being built.
