Fellowship Opportunities

For more information about these activities, please call the church office at 263-2696.  Please note that these times and dates are subject to change.  We have several new fun activities and/or educational opportunities such as book groups, special studies, small groups, etc.  

Worship each Sunday morning at 10:15am.  Visitors are expected!  Following worship service, those who have a few moments of time gather in the parlor for a time of coffee and fellowship.

Sunday School each Sunday morning at 9:00am September through May.

All-church Night - Each Wednesday from September  through April members of all ages gather for supper at 5:30pm followed by activities and classes.  Everyone is welcome!  After the meal, children ages 3-4 gather in the nursery with their friends and K-5 learn about Bible stories through.  Middle School and Senior High enjoy fellowship and sharing, discussions and study, field trips, and will focus on living in God's world today.  An adult class "Adult Roundtable" is also available.  Something or everyone!  The evening concludes at 7:30pm.

Breakfast (at Hy-Vee) is a new fellowship group that meets at our local Muscatine Hy-Vee every Tuesday at 6:30am. The group is a way to connect men together informally around coffee and breakfast before work. Feel free to invite a friend! Hope to see you there!

There are two ladies Circles available. Lydia Circle usually meets  in homes on the first Thursday evening of the month, and Friendship Circle usually meets at the church on the 3rd Thursday of each month.  

Come join us for coffee every Wednesday morning from 10:00-11:00am.  This is a time for coffee and fellowship.

Hungry Hearts meets year-round on the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of each month from 10:30 to 11:45am in Pastor David's office. This group explores the Christian spiritual life together through spiritual readings, listening to wisdom teachers, & committing to pray with and for each other. This group is open to all who desire to go "deeper" in our experience of the Spirit in everyday life.

**NEW! "God Sightings" is a small group that meets year-round on Fridays from 12:00 to 12:50pm (during lunchtime). Please bring your lunch with you and invite a friend! This group is open to all!

The adult choir needs you! Currently the adult choir is practicing on Sunday mornings at 9:00am and Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm. The Children's choir meets during the Wednesday All-Church Night and sings occasionally at Sunday worship.

Additional Adult Studies and Family activities are planned throughout the year.  Please check the calendar for these special events.

Service Opportunities: 

Emmaus Cafe:  Our church serves a free noon meal each Sunday.  Volunteers are needed to prepare lunch, serve the meal, and clean up afterward.

Habitat for Humanity:  The churches of Muscatine work together to provide financial support and labor for homes being built.
